Aditi Paul, Founder of Dr. Paul & Company, shares how she went from a PhD in Communication Studies to creating a mission-driven organization supporting immigrants through mentorship and education.
I love this. Congratulations, Aditi—Dr. Paul! So much respect for you for fighting back and walking away, but also, your transition speaks closely to some of my own avenues of exploration. It's inspiring
It truly is. Leaving academia is something I have been contemplating lately, as I inch towards finishing my PhD. But I think I want to give it another chance and make a decision after 1 postdoc. This is so overwhelming!
Congratulations on almost finishing your PhD! For what it's worth, so many PhDs do a postdoc and then decide on their next move - so you are not alone in that :)
